2005 - Unassisted lift was witnessed by David Webster & Gordon Dinnie
2007 - 6 unassisted lifts using side by side stance, and 5 unassited lifts in the straddle position. He lifted & moved the stones five feet, lifting them side by side and swinging them forward 3 times he travelled 5 feet. witnessed by Alex Thomson, David Webster, Keith Craigmile, Richard Ingram, & Holly Crawford.
2016 - Bill travelled to Scotland to take part in a documentary on Scottish stone lifting (Stoneland). He finished off a hectic week of touring around Scotland, lifting many stones on the way, by taking part in a Dinnie Stone lift and hold competition at the Aboyne Highland Games. Despite this he still managed to lift and hold the stones for over 4 seconds which any athelete would have been proud of!
2022 Bill and his son Billy attended The Gathering VI at Potarch on Sunday 7th August 2022. They both performed successful full lifts of the Dinnie Stones making them only the 3rd father and son lifters to succesfully perform a full lift of lenathe stones unassisted since Donald Dinnie and his father Robert.
